Legal document. This policy describes how Monaco Technologies S.A.M. collects, uses and protects your personal data through its website.
1. Purpose
This Privacy Policy describes the conditions under which MONACO TECHNOLOGIES S.A.M. collects and processes the personal data of visitors to its website.
MONACO TECHNOLOGIES S.A.M. attaches particular importance to the protection of privacy and processes personal data in accordance with applicable legislation, in particular Monegasque Law No. 1.565 of 3 December 2024 on the protection of personal data and, where its conditions of application are met, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR").

3. Data that may be processed
Depending on the features used, the website may process:
- identification and contact data: surname, first name, email address, company;
- information submitted through contact forms;
- technical data: IP address, device type, browser, operating system, technical identifiers, connection logs and security events;
- data strictly necessary for the operation of the website.
Monaco Technologies asks visitors not to enter sensitive data in input fields where such data is not necessary, including information relating to their health, political or religious opinions, sexual orientation, biometric data or any other particularly sensitive information.
In accordance with Law No. 1.565 of 3 December 2024 on the protection of personal data, Monegasque legislation provides specific and enhanced protection for such sensitive data.
4. Purposes and legal bases
The data may be used for the following purposes:

Where consent constitutes the legal basis for processing, it may be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
5. Recipients and processors
Personal data collected is accessible only to members of Monaco Technologies staff who strictly need access to such data in the performance of their duties.
Monaco Technologies does not sell or market personal data to third parties.
6. International transfers
Certain technical service providers may be established or may process data outside Monaco or the European Economic Area.
In such cases, Monaco Technologies implements the mechanisms and safeguards required by applicable regulations in order to ensure an appropriate level of data protection.
Monegasque Law No. 1.565 itself regulates transfers of data outside the Principality. Where the GDPR applies, the relevant transfers are also organised in accordance with Chapter V thereof.
Monaco does not, as of this date, appear on the list of countries benefiting from a general adequacy decision issued by the European Commission. This point is taken into account in the contractual framework where data is transferred from the European Economic Area to Monaco.
7. Retention periods
Monaco Technologies retains data only for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected.

8. Security
Monaco Technologies implements appropriate technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data against destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorised access.
Such measures may include access controls, authentication mechanisms, encryption where appropriate, access logging, backups and incident management procedures.
9. Data subject rights
Depending on the applicable regulations and subject to the conditions provided therein, users may in particular exercise:
- the right to information;
- the right of access;
- the right to rectification;
- the right to erasure;
- the right to object;
- the right to restriction of processing;
- the right to data portability;
- rights relating to individual automated decision-making.
These rights include those recognised under Monegasque Law No. 1.565.

Proof of identity may be requested only where necessary to verify the identity of the applicant.
10. Complaints
Any person who considers that their rights have not been respected may lodge a complaint with the Monaco Personal Data Protection Authority.
Where the GDPR applies, the data subject may also benefit from the remedies provided for therein.
11. Minors
The website is not intended to knowingly collect personal data relating to minors in breach of applicable rules.
12. Amendments
This Policy may be updated to reflect changes to the website, its service providers or applicable regulations. The date of the latest amendment appears at the top of this document.
